About Dr. Ivar E. Roth, President and Founder of the Orange County, CA chapter:

“I am a native of California and a second generation Podiatrist. From a very early age I had a clear vison of my future in medicine.  My favorite uncle, Dr. Harold “Chick” Weiner of Brooklyn, New York, was perhaps my greatest source of inspiration and encouragement in choosing my profession.

After earning an undergraduate degree from California State University, Fullerton and graduating from the Illinois College of Podiatric Medicine, I strove to become the best doctor I could be. This ambition drove me to earn a Masters in Public Health from the University of Illinois.  I then completed a 3 year residency in foot and ankle surgery, concluding the 3rd year at Mount Sinai Medical Center, Chicago under the direction of the world famous Dr. Lowell Scott Weil, DPM.

I have practiced in Newport Beach Since 1985, and hold the exclusive position as Hoag Hospital’s sole active staff Podiatrist with full privileges in surgery of the foot and ankle. I am also founder, and first President of the Orange County Chapter of the American Academy of Private Physicians — a professional organization for Concierge Physicians.

I have dedicated my life to providing the highest quality of care in my medical practice and take great pride in offering this service.”
