I am a semi ins free solo PT in upstate NY. I do par w/ medicare still and occasionally take work comp, no fault. I have been doing it ths way for 5.5 yrs when I left a "fast food" PT practice. My problem is that I am the only in my area doing it this way, I still haven't "fine tuned" my way to explain to the prospective patient that they would be making a good choice to receive care here as opposed to the "fast food" facilities down the street. I do not even consider participating w/ ins. co. but, my practice is only at ~ 60-70% capacity. i would like to be busier and attract other PT's to come in and help build the practice. It would be nice to have someone bounce ideas off and help me gain confidence in this.

Sincerely,
Chuck Prosser, PT
